Throughout September
Many local activities are keyed to
The September Project,
an international effort that encourages community members to gather in their
local libraries on September 11 to discuss world affairs. Throughout the month,
the Arlington Central Library (1015 N. Quincy St.) will present an art exhibit
that commemorates the events of September 11, 2001. The library’s Virginia Room
will showcase pictures and letters that schoolchildren sent to the Arlington
County Fire Department following 9/11.
