Top 5 Irish Bars
It's March and Street Patrick’s Day is just around the corner. But
let’s face it – in the month of March, everyone digs deep for
some inkling of Irish heritage, and Street Paddy’s Day celebrations
last all month long. Here are some of the best places in
Arlington to down a pint of
Guinness. Slainte!
Ri-Ra
This pub has one thing that sets it apart from all the others – everyone that works there speaks with an Irish accent. Add to that the restored authentic Irish bar, shipped from Ireland, and it makes for a truly genuine experience. The extensive menu offers endless burger options and traditional Bangers & Mash, in addition to other Irish favorites.

Sine
Location, location, location. Sine Irish Pub is located on Pentagon Row, steps from ice skating and endless shopping options. Restaurant options abound in this area too, but if you’re looking for a hearty meal and great service, choose Sine. Even with Guinness topping the appetizer menu (a great way to start a meal, they say), the rest of the options carry their weight – from traditional Irish recipes to chicken cheesesteak, all palettes will be pleased here.

Ireland’s Four Courts
Four Courts knows how to keep a crowd happy – and their secret isn’t just in the beer tap. Pub quiz, open mic night, live music, and HD plasma televisions showing the current football (American soccer) rivalry bring entertainment and lots of fun in this Courthouse favorite.

O’Sullivan’s
O’Sullivan’s is already counting down to Street Patrick’s Day. If you are too, check out this pub’s truly authentic Irish traditions – including Ceili dancing, music sessions and singsongs. The menu offers Killarney salmon and shepherd’s pie, but be forewarned: unlike other Irish pubs in the area, this menu is almost entirely Irish. You’ll find no cheesesteaks here.

Kitty O’Shea’s
The thing that sets Kitty O’Shea’s apart from the competition is its unrelenting focus on sports. All Sports All the Time leaves nothing out, featuring everything from MLS to hockey, football to basketball. The menu boasts traditional favorites along with a kid-friendly menu and even a New York strip steak.
